Often when on site doing waterproofing we have
to wait for the core cutters to core a drainage hole before we can
continue with
our waterproofing. Most times when the hole has to be cored through
an up-stand wall or a parapet we find that it runs up instead of
down. In order to offer a better service and save time we decided
to purchase our own concrete cutting machines. This included hand
held straight line cutters and a floor cutter.
Now we can assist our clients with cutting round
holes or square holes. When it comes to renovations
and alterations the tendency is to bash a hole through a wall or
concrete deck to facilitate
the fitting
of doors, stairs, skylights, windows, drainage holes etc. The
advantages of cutting rather than bashing a hole through are
numerous. It is
quick, neat, reasonably quite and does not put strain on the
structure around the holes being cut. The cutters are diamond
tipped and cut
through bricks, concrete as well as steel re-enforcing. So give
us a call and we will remove the bits you do not want. |
